Timelines

Air cargo: 7–10 days door-to-door. Flights leave Monday. Small parcels under 20kg.
Sea cargo: 4–6 weeks door-to-door. Departs monthly. For bulk business orders and heavier items where air would be prohibitive.
Express: 3–5 days via DHL Express, billed at DHL’s actual rate. Available on request for urgent orders.

The clock starts when I ship, not when you approve the quote. Sourcing runs Monday through Friday, ship happens Monday, so most orders add a 0–7 day gap between payment and ship depending on which day you approved.

Where we ship

Nigeria: Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Kano, Enugu, Kaduna, Benin City. Other cities handled via last-mile partner.
Ghana: Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi.
Other West African destinations available on request for business accounts.

Carriers

We use the carrier that makes sense for your order:

DHL Express for time-sensitive or high-value parcels.
FedEx International for mid-weight commercial orders.
UPS Worldwide as a cost-competitive alternative.
Consolidators for weekly/monthly bulk air freight.
Local last-mile: GIG Logistics, Kwik Delivery, or equivalents in destination cities.

Customs and duties

Everything we ship is declared honestly. We handle the paperwork at the US export side. In most cases, customs duties in your country are included in the final landed cost I quote you. Where they aren’t (high-value electronics, luxury items above NAFDAC thresholds), I tell you before shipping.

If Nigerian customs holds your parcel for inspection, I coordinate directly with them and with you. This adds 3–5 days but is normal for items over about $500.

Tracking

Once I hand the package to the carrier, you get the tracking number via WhatsApp and email. You can also check it at /track-order with your order number and email.

When shipments are delayed

If tracking hasn’t updated in 72+ hours or if delivery is more than 3 days past the estimate, message me on WhatsApp. I call the carrier and give you an update the same day. Most delays are resolved without drama.

Shipping rates

We charge shipping at the carrier’s actual rate with no markup. As a rough guide:

Air cargo to Nigeria / Ghana: roughly $6/kg
DHL Express: $40–100+ depending on weight and destination
Sea cargo: by volume, quoted per container slot
